Why I Worship You? GANGES !!!!

I come to you as a child to his mother.
I come as an orphan to you, moist with love.
I come without refuge to you, giver of sacred rest.
I come a fallen man to you, uplifter of all.
I come undone by disease to you, the perfect physician.
I come, my heart dry with thirst, to you, ocean of sweet wine.

A popular poetry by jagannatha panditraj ,Ganga lahiri lines described what is still in me , unfulfilled.

I can not see it through my nacked eyes, what my belief on god gives me back , but I can see what you give back to me , for my thirsty throat and my empty stomach. You calms me down when I am tired. You energize me by assimilating me in you. You are the representation of all water that gives life to me, to all of us.

Ganga is the shakti or the moving, restless, rolling energy in the form.

A very peaceful morning when it looks like a calm goddess to an adolescent girl, till evening raising its level and flowing uncontrolled and assimilating all offerings of people , worth to experience and to keep in memory.

The morning Ganga aarti(prayer) in haridwar ,rishikesh,Varanasi and many ghats(riverbank) to the form of energy which inspires us to start our days with full of energy in ourselves, with a belief in the utmost supreme power, which drives this universe. Inspite of the fact that Ganga is considered as a goddess and mother in INDIA, unknowingly, its her own children polluting her in the form of dumping rituals objects, in the form of industrial waste, by dumping toxic waste caused by dumping of insecticides, pesticides, and metals, and industrial pollutants. It is not the fault of water , which is afficting people with so many deseases with diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, and even typhoid each year. it is fault of us ,who dump our waste, without thinking twice that river takes nothing from you. it gives and it gives back.it is our duty to keep it clean .

The evening ganga aarti, as  dusk descends to thank her ,  It’s usually made in the form of a lit lamp, and in the case of the Ganges River, a small diya with a candle and flowers that’s floated down the river.,for her blessings in the form of water to our crops. it’s the thurst and hunger ,without you it can not be possible to fill.

I have spent my  whole day looking at her. She talks to me with her kal-kal voice ,which fills the emptiness of my heart when i take a deep dip. her power and mygisty empowers me , charges me for a whole day making me realize the true meaning of ganga lahiri lines..

I come to you as a child to his mother…….
